Wautoma scored 48 unanswered points in the second and third quarters, dashing Westfield's playoff hopes with a 55-20 victory over the Pioneers in Westfield on Thursday night.

Westfield took an early 6-0 lead on Zach Floeter's 2-yard TD run in the first quarter, but Wautoma responded with seven straight touchdowns to get the win and finish off an undefeated South Central Conference season.

Westfield was held to just 153 yards of total offense, including just 80 rushing yards on 41 attempts.

The Pioneers finish the season 5-4 overall, but just 2-3 in the conference, leaving them one victory shy of a playoff spot.
