I want to write in appreciation of three writers of recent letters to the editor.

Matthew DuVall, you expressed perfectly all the random, unhappy thoughts circling my head in regard to the food fight, but simply and very thoughtfully. Thank you. You are very well-spoken.

Second, hear hear to Kevin Berger, who succinctly answered Kasi Schroeder's rambling, illogical and disturbing letter to the editor. Thanks.

Additionally, Bill Irwin of Acton, Calif., expressed a great rebuttal to the same letter. Thanks for some logic in a very emotional and overwrought subject.
