The Portage Community of Girl Scouts would like to thank everyone who bought cookies and especially those who bought cookies for the Cookie Share Program. All those cookies were sent over to the Portage men and women overseas.
Also, thanks to everyone who contributed to the postage to help ship the cookies over. There were five full cases and also included Ziploc bags so they could keep them fresh. There are 100 girls and 25 volunteers who worked hard on the cookie sales and the cookie shop booths.
We would like to thank Kmart and Wal-Mart for their support in letting us set up the cookie shop booths. The Portage Community sold more than 1,400 cases of cookies this year.
Again, thank all of you for your support for the Girl Scouts.
