As summer fades into fall, Columbia County Association for Home and Community Education would like to thank everyone for their tremendous support for our cream puff sales throughout the summer.
From the Carriage Classic in Columbus in June, Columbia County Fair in Portage, Taste of Portage and the Korn Karnival in Randolph on Labor Day, your patronage was very rewarding.
Cream puff sales fund programs such as Wisconsin Bookworms, two high school scholarships, 4-H youth fund, family-related programs, international studies and more. For more information about our programs, call the extension office at 742-9686.
We also owe a debt of thanks to the Pardeeville Piggly Wiggly, which cooperated with us in storing our products at their facility for several years, as well as the management at Trail's Lounge for use of storage space, two area business establishments dedicated to serving community organizations.
We plan to be back next summer so we hope you will again choose cream puffs as one of your favorite summer treats. Thank you for your continued support.
