Jesse F. Russell Jr.

ENDEAVOR/MADISON - Jesse F. Russell Jr., 50, died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at the University Hospital in Madison.

He was born Jan. 12, 1959, in Chicago to Jesse F. and Eunice Luce Russell. Jesse had lived in Endeavor for many years before moving to Madison three years ago. He was a truck driver for a recycling company, enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and was a loving son, dedicated father and devoted grandfather.

Survivors include his mother, Eunice Russell of Madison; three daughters, Traci Harwood (Joe Rodriguez) of Portage, Holly Evans of Portage, and Lindsey Harwood of Madison; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon (Allen) Bruhn of California and Mary Ellen (Timothy) Daley of Merrill; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Harwood, in 1998 and his father in 1994.

According to his wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Traynor and the staff at the UW Oncology Department and the Palliative Care.
