Jason J. Kitkowski

PORTAGE - Jason J. Kitkowski, 33, of Portage, died Friday, June 5, 2009, at Divine Savior Healthcare, Portage.

Jason was born March 18, 1976, in West Allis, the son of Thomas and Margarete Hansen Kitkowski. He loved being a dad and always tried to set good examples.

He is survived by his fiance, Carrie Julseth of Portage; his dad, Thomas Kitkowski of Jacksonville, Fla.; children, Gage Thiessen, Vanessa Julseth, Matthew Walters, ZinEvra Julseth, and SaLeea Ann Kitkowski, all of Portage; brother, Eric Doege of Endeavor; sisters, Ashley (Steve Marchand) Doege of Endeavor and Nicole Lynne Doege of Portage; grandmother, Sieglinda Hansen of Oconomowoc; and niece and nephew, Madalynne and Karter Marchand of Endeavor. Jason was preceded in death by his parents, Greg and Margarete Doege; his grandpa, Alvin Hansen; and close friend, Larry Oren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Portage, with the Rev. Alan Boeck officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Picha Funeral Home of Portage assisted the family with arrangements.
