Between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to 31 calls, including two domestic disorderly conduct arrests.

200 block of West Wisconsin Street: At 7:59 p.m. Monday, police responded to a Crime Stoppers Inc. tip of a woman entering a car and taking items. Peggy High, 45, of Portage, later was arrested and taken to the Columbia County Jail on a tentative charge of theft and four counts of bail jumping after she reportedly took cases of CDs from a vehicle.

400 block of West Wisconsin Street: Police at 10:53 a.m. Tuesday took a report of a damaged vending machine. A soda machine had been damaged sometime between 6 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

200 block of East Edgewater Street: At 1:42 p.m. Tuesday, police investigated a driver known to have a revoked license. Kevin Cole, 40, of Portage, was arrested on a tentative charge of operating after revocation as a seventh offense. He was taken to jail.
