Between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday, police responded to 103 calls, including an emergency detoxification.

200 block of East Wisconsin Street: At 12:05 p.m. Thursday, police took a report of a broken vehicle window. A side window on a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country minivan cracked and shattered after the vehicle owners heard a loud bang as they were driving.

Kwik Trip, 1324 E. Wisconsin St.: At 7:32 a.m. Wednesday, police cited Joseph S. Mender, 30, of Portage, for shoplifting after store employees said he opened a new container of French vanilla coffee creamer, added some to the coffee he purchased and set the container down inside the store, then refused to pay for it. Mender also was cited for operating while suspended.

Highway 33: Police at 2:20 a.m. Saturday stopped a vehicle that crossed the fog line several times. Christopher Herbert, 23, of Pardeeville, was tentatively charged with drunken driving as a second offense after police said he registered a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.103 on a preliminary Breathalyzer test. The legal level to drive in Wisconsin is 0.08.

Intersection of Cook and Wisconsin streets: Police at 2:45 a.m. Sunday witnessed a fight in the street. Craig A. Wheeler, 45, of Portage, and Joshua J. Morse, 23, of Portage, were cited for disorderly conduct.

100 block of West Carroll Street: At 1:52 a.m. Monday, police stopped a vehicle with a broken front headlight. The driver, David N. Bobholz, 18, of Friesland, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while drugged, for possession of marijuana, for possession of drug paraphernalia and for resisting arrest.
