A Portage woman in court recently on drug charges faces three additional charges after appearing in court Thursday.
Kadey Pulver, 20, of Portage, was charged Thursday with two counts of felony distribution of methadone, and felony distribution of heroin.
Judge James O. Miller ordered a $5,000 signature bond on each of three new charges filed against her. She remains in the Columbia County Jail on a probation hold.
Amy Mossholder, 26, of Portage, was also charged with felony distribution of methadone in one of the cases. She is scheduled for an initial appearance on the charge Dec. 3.
Mossholder reportedly obtained two methadone pills from Pulver on July 17, which she then sold to an informant for $8, according to a criminal complaint. Pulver allegedly told the informant she would charge $10 per pill next time if the informant only bought two tablets again, the complaint stated.
Pulver reportedly sold 10 methadone pills for $70 on July 30 and heroin for $250 on July 29 to the same informant, according to two criminal complaints.
During a search of Pulver's Howard Street apartment in August, authorities discovered marijuana, heroin, and 36 methadone pills along with drug paraphernalia, according to a criminal complaint.
Pulver reportedly admitted to detectives that she is addicted to methadone and heroin and sells both drugs, and that she gives a friend heroin in exchange for rides to Madison to purchase heroin, the complaint stated. She allegedly told authorities she has given methadone pills as part of rent payment, according a criminal complaint. Pulver was arrested in August following the search and was charged at the time with felony delivery of schedule two narcotics.
Pulver received a $7,500 signature bond during an initial appearance two weeks ago in court on charges of felony possession with intent to deliver narcotics, felony possession of narcotic drugs, felony maintaining a drug trafficking place, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
The new charges add a possibility of 15 years in prison and $125,000 in fines as a maximum punishment. She also faces a maximum of 23 years in prison and $120,000 in fines on the felony charges filed last week and in August.
She is scheduled for a pretrial conference on the new charges Jan. 7.
