Between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday, police responded to 20 calls, including a domestic disorderly conduct arrest.

Staples, 2830 New Pinery Road: Police at 5:54 p.m. Wednesday cited a 16-year-old rural Portage boy for shoplifting. The boy allegedly took a package of Earbuds into the restroom and left the package in a toilet reservoir bowl. The headphones were worth $31.64 with tax, police said.

Police investigated five incidents of vandalism involving orange paint graffiti between 8 and 10 a.m. Wednesday at the following locations: The Blarney Stone, 220 W. Wisconsin St., with paint on a shed and on a men's urinal; on a retaining wall and fence on the 300 block of West Cook Street; on a garage in the alley of the 300 block of West Edgewater Street; on a window and an apartment building on the 200 block of West Wisconsin Street; and on a city directional sign in the 600 block of West Wisconsin Street.

500 block of West Cook Street: At 11:28 a.m. Wednesday, police took a report of the theft of a Toshiba laptop computer worth $1,500 from an unlocked home. The theft occurred sometime between 2 and 5 p.m. Monday, police said.
