Katie Rose Hagen and Isaac David Perkins, both of Stockbridge Ga., announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Linda Hagen of Brookfield, Jeff Hagen of Fort Atkinson, and Giles and Jolene Perkins of Pardeeville.

Katie is a 2002 graduate of Waukesha South High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor's degree in molecular biology. She is a research specialist at Emery University in Atlanta, where she studies human genetics.

Isaac is a 2001 graduate of Pardeeville High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor's degree in anthropology. He is an account manager at Quad Graphics, a magazine printer, in Atlanta.

A Nov. 28, 2009, wedding is planned in Madison.
