Fern O'Donnell of Portage celebrated her 90th birthday June 18, 2009.

She celebrated with family June 20 at the home of her daughter, Maggie and Bob Strycharske in Oregon.

Her children, Pat of Newport Beach, Calif., Ray of Briggsville, Rich of Belvidere, Ill., Charlotte and Bill of Portage, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends were in attendance.

Fern was born and lives in Portage, where she and her husband Henry raised 11 children. She has been a member of St. Mary's Church in Portage for 69 years.
