Melissa Hassett and Levi Fry announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Cindy Hassett of Cedarburg, Tim Hassett of Germantown, and Mary Kay and Larry Fry of North Prairie.

Melissa is a 2001 graduate of Cedarburg High School, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, with a bachelor's degree in education. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at Central-Denison Elementary School in Lake Geneva.

Levi is a 2001 graduate of Kettle Moraine High School, and a 2006 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a business minor. He is employed at IronPlanet as a territory manager in Wisconsin, Ohio and Minnesota.

The couple is planning an August 2009 wedding.
