Donald and Mavis LaVigne of Portage celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary June 18, 2009. The couple will celebrate with a family dinner.

Donald and the former Mavis Berger were married June 18, 1949.

They have two daughters, Pat (Roger) Baerwolf and Bev (Dave) Hall; three sons, Doug (Diane) LaVigne, Jim (Carole) LaVigne and Mike (Rita) LaVigne; 14 grandchildren, Troy (Shannon) Baerwolf, Amy (Kraig) Windus, Emily (Joe) Janney, Megan (Ryan) Schroeder, Greg Maney, Sara Maney, David Hall, Jena LaVigne, Derek LaVigne, Ian LaVigne, Isaac LaVigne, Emma LaVigne, Zachary LaVigne and Ben LaVigne; and 11 great-grandchildren.

They enjoy camping, following the Brewers and Packers, and their new dog, Katie.
