Amanda Sue Knapton and Travis Lee Heimlich were united in marriage May 16, 2009, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Baraboo. The Rev. Deb Ohrtman performed the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Roy and Lori Knapton of Portage, and Connie Pownell of Minoqua and the late Marlon Heimlich of Appleton.

The matron of honor was Bayli Boehm of Portage, the maid of honor was Stephanie Jarvis of La Crosse, and the best man was Evan Wenkus of Eden Prairie, Minn. Also attending the couple were Karen Knapton of Hammond, Trisha Wolfgram of Appleton, Jacob Knapton of Hammond, Matt Knapton of Baraboo and Sean Matyas of Marion, Iowa.

Amanda is a 2008 graduate of Minnesota State University-Mankato. She is employed at U.S. Bank.

Travis is studying CAD drafting and is employed at Menard's.

Following a honeymoon in Las Vegas, the couple will make their home in Portage.
